Christina Aguilera is supposedly dealing with a big “dilemma” involving her boyfriend Matthew Rutler and her three-year-old son Max, according to In Touch.
The mag claims that despite Rutler’s attempts to “win Max over,” the toddler ”just doesn’t like” him.
Even though Rutler has been dating Aguilera for months, he and Max still haven’t “bonded,” says a so-called friend of the Burlesque star.
The “friend” explains that Aguilera has tried to encourage a relationship between her son and boyfriend, but that “Max is a daddy’s boy and Matt isn’t his daddy.”
So is the toddler really holding a grudge against his mom’s new man?
Nope.
A source close to Aguilera tells Gossip Cop the tab’s tale is “totally false,” and says Rutler “respects that he is not Max’s dad, but still enjoys his time with Christina and Max.”
In fact, the threesome just spent a week at Disney World together.
