DMX Will Remain In Prison Due To Disciplinary Reason

DMX’s time behind bars won’t be coming to an end this week as planned. The emcee was supposed to be released today after serving time for a probation violation, but will remain in a Yuma, Arizona prison because of several disciplinary infractions. TMZ.com says X was caught with drugs in the prison, although a rep for the facility would not say what type of drugs were found. The rapper has also refused to take drug tests and was allegedly caught smoking when he wasn’t allowed to. DMX has amassed a total of seven infractions, and will stay in prison for at least one more week.
DMX was arrested in Arizona last November for violating his probation. He was sentenced to a year behind bars in December, but was given credit for time already served. Just last month DMX told “Vibe” magazine that he was eager to get out so that he could work on new music.
