Serena Williams - Tennis champion Serena Williams made her debut to the tennis court in style! Serena has been absent from the professional scene for several months following a freak accident that injured her leg. Serena has since been photographed wearing flats and often a cast around her lower leg. Yet after she removed the cast Serena suffered another set back when she was hospitalized for a blood clot in her lung. So it's refreshing to see Serena hit the court again.
On Tuesday, Serena tweeted: “Cool news guys stay tuned.. Ill update u with a pic.. U ready??”
Then, a little later, she tweeted again: “Look who I spotted on the court. Her first day back…” How could Serena be missed in that hot pink Lycra jumpsuit??
Ironically Serena is healing from her injuries while her current rival Kim Clijsters will be out at least for the French Open. Looking forward to seeing both Kim Clijsters and Serena Williams back on the court - together
